When reimagining the iconic Woolly Bay Hotel, Woolloomooloo, Luchetti Krelle took cues from the hotel’s waterfront location and the Med, with blue mosaic tiles, terrazzo and a pebble-grey paint job.

Drinking and dining sequenced over three levels transitions from a lounge atmosphere on the ground level to a fresh interpretation of beach club resorts aloft in the Arturo’s restaurant and rooftop bar. The rooftop features the gorgeous Fabricut Kousa Stripe dressed up as cushions on the banquette seating and the vibrant mustard Aqua Clean Bellagio also used on the banquette seating bringing the hotel atmosphere life.

Squillace

Squillace Architects created a luxurious beachfront headquarters for Northern Beaches real estate agency Clarke & Humel. Situated on the doorstep of Manly Beach, the space was designed to showcase surrounding coastal views with executive offices opening to an expansive balcony as an extension of the interior. The clients wanted the space to feel elevated, relaxed, and warm; to emulate the feeling of a residential space rather than a typical commercial office.

This was achieved through materiality, form, layout, and lighting. The design direction took inspiration from the sites surrounding rolling waves, informing sweeping curves and organic forms throughout. Materials are textural and tonal featuring bamboo wall cladding, plastered walls, Victorian ash framed glazing, and The Textile Company Amalfi-Natural linen drapery. The colour pallet is a mix of subdued tones and playful pops of colour including blush, terracotta, powder blue, and sandy beige.

BSPN Architecture designed a light and fresh space, creating the feeling of an indoor-outdoor living. Design inspiration was drawn from classic Queensland architecture, with the focus of the redesign to create a family-friendly dining environment for patrons and an efficient operational experience for the club.

The Authentic abaca pulp is combed into distinctive dimensional designs to create a specialty wallcovering that panels beautifully. These artistically handcrafted wallcoverings are crafted by skilled artisans with the finest natural materials and meticulously layered for a luxurious style. Abaca strings are finished with a hint of metallic and treated with a stain repellent finish.

Working closely with Abeo Architects and utilising the Phillip Jeffries Pure Imagination program, The Textile Company customised and re-scaled the beautiful PJ mural 5581-Arboretum printed on 7734-Vinyl Mirror Mirror to perfectly fit the walls and transform the Piano Bar in Orange Ex-Services Club NSW.

The Phillip Jeffries Murals are beautiful hand drawn original artwork designed and printed inhouse at the PJ HQ. Using state of the art printers, the PJ murals can be printed on 24 different substrates including gold leaf, wood veneer, cork, silk, grass, vinyl & more.

Specified out of the Salesforce HQ in San Francisco and working locally with GroupGSA and SHAPE Australia, the Phillip Jeffries Ltd Grass Roots 3365 was used extensively throughout the new Sydney Salesforce meeting rooms. This 100% renewable grasscloth is inherently fire-rated without any chemical treatment, making it a sustainable solution that enhances the mood in the room with colour and texture. We worked closely with the builder and were able to customise the bolt sizes to reduce waste and cost.

“Housed in a two-storey Victorian building in the heart of Abbotsford, La Fantaisie artfully combines florist, café and function spaces into a welcoming and tactile proposition.

Embracing a layered approach to materials, the venue reflects the beauty and fragility of the historic site. Burnished concrete floors, exposed-truss ceilings, raked render and troweled brick walls create a textural backdrop, drawing focus to the striking articulation of floristry and café benches. 

Interested in softening the industrial character of the warehouse building, Bergman & Co. introduced Camengo Fjord Chameau curtains from The Textile Company into the heart of the space. This linen-like voile subtly delineates the venue’s floristry and café spaces, lending privacy between settings. The softness of the fabric’s texture offers a subtle sense of movement, while its earthy tone harmonises with the blush veins of the nearby marble counters.“

Philip Jeffries signature wallpapers add to the mood with clouds and golden lily motifs thoughtfully framed around the beds.”
