“Whilst keeping the space minimal, the Phillip Jeffries Preppy Plaid in Cream adds a sense of character to the study in this home without dominating the space. The gingham pattern is so sophisticated and ties in the modern Hamptons theme perfectly.”

“Within this beachside retreat opposite Sorrento Sailing Club, a coastal Positano palette meets Italian Rationalism. The two-storey Merchant Builder-style home (originally constructed in 1980) was pared back to its primary bones. Within, sharp angular planes carved from stone are potently matched with the sensuality of abundant textural surfaces – both hard and soft.

Phillip Jeffries Island Raffia wallcovering features on both levels. Combined with the European oak floorboards, it knits the cooling pale sage polished plaster surfaces together like an extension of the surrounding shoreline’s sand and thick scrub.”

“I was drawn to the James Malone Pardus velvet the instant I saw it. It was the statement piece the room needed and I knew it would work back beautifully with other elements within the house such as the artwork and finishes.

Being such a classic design I loved that it could also float around the house and work with many of my clients existing pieces.”

“In determining the design direction for this home in Mt Martha, we coined the look ‘Caribbean Colonial’ – blending the formality of British Colonial with its sense of history, collection and curation, with the really relaxed resort, airy breezy vibe of Floridian, island design. Biscayne is the result of our desire to elevate existing styles to a whole new level. This aesthetic epitomises resort-style living, blending a beautiful formality with relaxed conviviality. A design style that reflects my desire to be at one with nature, and to bring the outside in – in a fresh new way.”

“We love a statement entrance and the foyer of Elizabeth Bay House is no exception. In the home of Design Principal Alexandra Kidd, the Phillip Jeffries radiant Metallic Ombre II Gold wallcovering creates a stunning first impression. The gold leaf waterfall cascades down the entrance wall panels, setting the perfect luxurious tone for the rest of the home.”

“The magnificent Serenity wallcovering dissolves the sense of enclosure in this Melbourne sitting room and gives the sense of being immersed in an idealised, watery bayou. The painterly images are given further depth by the texture of the paper and the effect is amplified by the massive repeat which gives the sense of it being created in and for the room.

The Solsitce Silk wallcovering is perfect to add a luxurious lustre to walls as part of an overall colour scheme. The effect is an instant patina and the random nature of the slubbed silk gives a sense of something which is at once natural and highly refined.”

“We chose the Camengo Guyane to upholster these chairs as they were the perfect choice to reflect our client’s love of pattern and colour. Set against the custom turquoise lacquered walls and a gold leaf ceiling detail, the strong colour aesthetic was inspired by our client’s adventurous drive to be shown opulent finishes reflecting their personal style.”

“Our selection of the stunning Santiago Stripe in colour Porto was made for its luxurious textural composition of natural fibres (wool and cotton) along with the unique pattern and colour combinations which complimented our design perfectly.

This beautiful textile has become the focal point for the room and as the upholstery for the twin King Single beds it is both durable and inviting.”
